Danka Weitzen was born in Poland in 1950. Her father was Polish and mother was Italian. (Ambien) Since her childhood, she has lived in Italy.
After graduating from high school, she started exhibiting her art. Her first exhibition was in Turin, Italy in 1969 at the Ars Plauda Gallery. Since that time, she has had international recognition of her art at exhibits in numerous countries including Holland, Egypt, Malta, Norway, Germany, Ireland, Russia, Senegal, Spain, United States, Bulgaria, Poland, Costa Rica, Kenya, Ethiopia, Portugal, Romania and Italy.
In 2007 Danka completed a museum show at the Sainte Maxime museum in France.
Danka is an artist whose style has continued to evolve and develop over the years. Her new passion is to paint floral still life’s. Her paintings require the viewer to take a second look, to ensure that indeed the flowers are painted and not real.
